Two posts in two days?? Who am I?!

I love writing about what’s been on my mind. It’s a great way for me to get it out of my head, on paper (Or screen) and then I can untangle them.

Today I went to the Orthwein Center and got a tour of everything they have to offer to help me further my recovery & get to where I want to be. It was incredible to see all the things they have to help the physically handicapped. I also met a lot of people in extended recovery like I am, which was just awesome. Like I said in my last post, it’s really challenging finding people who are mentally all there, but the physical is injured in some way. I am over the moon. They had a similar gym in Phoenix, but it was on the other side of town and not easy to get to. This is HUGE that they are so welcoming & relatively easy to get to by car (like 30 minutes). I am so excited to further expand my brain injury web, because even though my goal is to rid myself of the physical handicap, it will always affect my life. I’m really excited to have intelligent, creative, like-minded people who understand what I’ve been through and don’t judge me for it, but rather have the tools to help me. Everybody there seemed to just understand without having to stretch their minds to believe what I’m going through.. I’m so excited!! ☺
